Returns the new_manifold object describing the flat torus \(T^d\), with points represented as rows in \([0,1)^d\). This is the object used by manifold.dcov.test and choose_base_point when manifold = "torus".

Usage

manifold_torus()

Value

An object of class "manifold".

Details

Its components are is_in_torus, log_map_torus, dist_torus, is_valid_torus, and two base point methods: "auto" (the default, auto_base_point_torus) and "optimize" (optimize_base_point_torus).

Examples

manifold_torus()
#> <manifold: torus>
#>   representation:     [0,1)^d
#> base point methods: auto, optimize
